I’m seeing more and more reports of Caribbean Island tourism declining due to the aftermath of the 2008 hurricane season and the global economic woes.
Winter tourism is down in the Caribbean Islands, but this mans it’s a great time to get a great deal on a Caribbean vacation. Get out of the snow and into the sun!
While you’re having a good time saving money n the surf and sand, you’ll be helping the local shops keep alive. Spend your money at the small momo and pop places, the big chains will survive on their own. It’s the locals that are suffering the most, buy that extra t-shirt or thong swim suit from a local!
